Dog Walking

We offer walks of 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour from 8am - 6pm.

Why choose The Exeter Pet Company to walk my dog(s)?

Loving Care. We never walk more than 3 dogs at any one time and new dogs are introduced to any existing walking groups of dogs very carefully on leads.

Safety. The safety and health of your pet is paramount to us. All walks will be on a lead initially. If your dog requires more exercise, then we will only ever walk dogs off lead once we have fully assessed their recall and reactions to other dogs, people and wildlife. All dogs must wear a collar and tag stating owners name, address and ideally phone number (Control of Dogs Act). There is currently a potential £5000 fine for dogs not wearing a tag. We can also offer courtesy company dog tags with our mobile number.

Flexible. We offer regular or one off dog walks. We also offer walks from 30 minutes duration to 2 hours.

Times to Suit You. We offer dog walking slots from 8am to 6pm. 

Where will my dog be walked?

We will discuss where you would like your dog walked during your free initial consultation. Walks generally depend on the individual dog. Some prefer pavement walks on lead whereas others prefer a gallop chasing a ball in your local park. There are so many lovely places to walk dogs in the Exeter area and we commonly use King George IV  Playing Fields and The River Exe Valley Park.

How do I book?

Please call us on 01392 680332 or 07734 936072. We will have a chat about your dog and then arrange a convenient time to visit you and your dog for an initial consultation. During the intial consultation we will take a through history of your pet and it also gives you the opportunity to meet us and ask any questions you may have.

Once registered with us, we then book your dog walks in our diary.
